The She Flies Story:
She Flies Fitness was originally formed as Fit Mama Workouts by certified personal trainer/ group fitness instructor, Liz Sampson, in 2014.
Liz's own fitness journey is a perfect of example of how ANYONE can find their healthiest happiest self through finding the right fitness routine and environment. Liz formed Fit Mama in 2014 after the birth of her third son. During this time she had been regularly attending a gym for years but felt too intimidated to try any group fitness classes. She had tried several small group training groups and felt intimidated about being so much less in shape than everyone else. All of the equipment being used was foreign to her - it was just easier to keep doing what she knew. That was pedal away on the elliptical and hope to remain unnoticed Luckily though Liz attended a gym with her sister and sister in law. They decided to all start actually utilizing their gym memberships together - and formed a weekly tradition of going to a Monday night strength class followed by $2 margaritas at a nearby Mexican restaurant. As a new mom looking for any sense of her own self away from mommy hood - these weekly workouts and drinks with friends became something Liz would look forward to!! The group of encouraging friends and fun atmosphere helped make that class routine which then led to sticking with it long enough to see results. This helped all that anxiety about group fitness classes start to slip away. These friends and the community they gave her helped Liz become confident in her own fitness ability. She no longer felt on the outside - she felt like she could be a part of something. She realized how much strength you really could gain by getting strong!!
Liz fell in love with fitness and the strength she began to see in herself. She decided that she wanted to share this love with other women also looking to embrace their healthiest happiest life. Liz is now an ACE certified group fitness and personal trainer. She also holds specialties in peri/postnatal exercise and fitness nutrition. Over the 4 years leading Fit Mama Workouts and teaching fitness classes she has had to opportunity to train 100s of women. Through these years the initial mom fitness business she had originally launched started to morph into something else. Liz has an attitude of making workouts fun, empowering and welcoming to women in all stages of life. This attitude helped shift Fit Mama Workouts - to She Flies Fitness.
She Flies, just like Fit Mama, is committed to helping women find their healthiest happiest life. Each class designed by Liz or one of the other amazing She Flies female trainers is promised to inspire women to find their inner strength. She Flies Fitness is committed to creating kick booty workouts with an awesome strong - supportive female community.
